366 Photography Challenge: Week Thirty - Aberdeen Photographer

Welcome to week thirty of my 366 Photography Challenge! This week was full of interesting moments, capturing the essence of nature, light, and everyday life. Each photograph tells a story, and I’m excited to share these with you. Let’s dive into the week’s highlights!

Day 196: The Dry Spot

Fortune was on my side this day. I went for a walk, and I saw that I was getting surrounded by rain. It was pouring all around me, but I managed to walk back home dry. It was a short walk, but good enough to capture the picture for the challenge.

Day 197: The Tall Grass

I had been thinking of photographing this tall grass for some time because I often see nature as a structure, almost like an architectural feature. So, I photographed it on a rainy day using my favourite lighting style, backlighting, to highlight its details.

Day 198: Warm Day

It was such a pleasure to feel the temperature rise, and I enjoyed the walk immensely.

Day 199: Sunny Day

Because I work during the day, I leave my walks for the evening. Some days, the sun shines in the morning, and by evening it’s cloudy. Today was an exception. It was a gorgeous day, and I enjoyed my walk so much. The light was perfect, and I ended up taking more photos than usual.

Day 199.

Day 200: Bennachie

It was a busy day, and I chose to photograph this beautiful mountain. Unfortunately, I didn’t realise the significance of reaching 200 days in the challenge and didn’t do anything special to celebrate. It wasn’t until I wrote this post that the milestone sank in.

Day 200.

Day 201: Agapanthus

I love this flower for its shape and colour. Blue is rare in nature, making it all the more special. As far as I know, this plant originates from South Africa. Agapanthus has adapted very well in Argentina, thriving due to the similar climate.

Day 202: The View from My Garden

During summer holidays, I am not only busy with my business but also with family. Today, I prepared a special breakfast for my daughter, baked a carrot cake in the afternoon, and cooked pasta with tomato sauce and black olives for dinner. Some days, it feels like I spend the whole day in the kitchen. I took a picture from my garden and called it a day! I’m writing this blog very late to meet my challenge commitment, no matter what.

Day 202.

That wraps up week thirty of my 366 Photography Challenge. It’s been a week of capturing fleeting moments and finding beauty in everyday scenes. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to sharing more moments with you next week!
