365 Days Photography Challenge: Twelfth Week.
During this week, the wind was very strong, which constantly brought and took away rain and sunny moments. Therefore, I took advantage of the sunny spells to capture some photos.
On day 79, I took the opportunity to take a self-portrait when I was back from a meeting. It was a busy week seeing clients virtually and attending a networking event. Additionally, I am part of the Parent Association team at my daughter’s school, and I volunteer in the Lost Property group at the same institution. So, once a week, I organize the lost items, take photos, and post them on a platform to reunite the items with their owners. This week, I had a meeting with the PA in addition to my usual weekly work with the lost properties.
I am glad that despite the intense week, I maintain my workout routine. It is something that I don’t talk about much, but eating healthy and working out are other aspects of my life that are not negotiable. It is not easy in this modern life. I must battle with my mind, which doesn’t want to do it, and my body, which is sometimes tired or extremely tired! People who choose this kind of lifestyle develop strong willpower; it is not that they have a lot of time or that they are special in any way. They struggle like anyone else, but they overcome the obstacles. And that is great news: if they can do it, we can do it. Just take one small step at a time until the habit is settled. 🌟
You might think, “Why am I talking about being fit in a photography blog?” But you would be surprised to find that photography is hard physical work. Just setting up lights like soft boxes and stands with different backdrops can tire an unfit person. Then, you have to hold the professional camera, which is not lightweight, for two to seven hours or even more, depending on the work you do. And this is just the start of the basic work; we haven’t even mentioned the running, squats, and developing a strong core needed to capture good shots. So, photography is a highly demanding physical job, and I must be fit.
Another important aspect for me is my skills as a photographer. Therefore, on Friday, I enrolled in a new course to expand my knowledge as a Content Curator. 📸🌟
The more I know, the better I can serve my clients.❤️
In this opportunity, I added an extra photo because I found this rabbit very cute, thinking that he can hide from the eye of a photographer. Sure, darling, sure. 📸🐰
