365 Days of my Photography Journey: Photos from Westhill and Inverness
During this week, I was focused on organizing and doing portraits for clients. Therefore, many of the photos taken during the second week were at the last hours of the day. I even went outdoors around 11 pm to take a night photo to accomplish the challenge.
Minimalist Photography
The second week revealed to me that since the beginning of my photography journey, about 15 years ago, I repeatedly found myself taking some images in quite minimalist photos. In fact, my early followers knew me for that characteristic, and this persists in my style.
Unexpectedly, I was able to take a picture of one of my favourite trees under the weather conditions that I had in mind for quite some time. I had imagined this photo many months ago, and as soon as I saw the fog in the morning, I went outside the house to check if the scenario was as I had imagined, and fortunately, it was!
The picture of the day 13 was taken while I was traveling to Inverness. It was raining and very cold, as always! I had seen that building on previous trips and wanted to photograph it. Fortunately, I overcame the laziness of being warm in the car and jumped out to take this image.
Today’s image was taken in the botanical garden in Inverness. As I was going back to Westhill, I could see the snow falling. Therefore, more whitish images are coming for the next few days. Thank you for reading. Bye for now.
