Aberdeen Photographer - 366 Photography Challenge – Week Forty-Two / by Leticia Gaidon Bradford

This week highlights a mix of branding, headshots, and nature photography. Every day presents a new creative opportunity.

Day 279: Branding Photography

As a freelance photographer, I know how important it is to have up-to-date photos for my personal brand. These images are essential for Instagram and LinkedIn posts. Since I recently changed my hairstyle, I realised it was time for a refresh. I stopped procrastinating and took charge of updating my photos—a task I highly recommend for anyone with a business.

Day 280: Aberdeen in Autumn

It was a cloudy day with low light, and I had a personal brand photoshoot at the offices in Neospace. After the session, I stopped by the river to capture a photo for this challenge. Someone had left flowers on a bench, which added an extra element of interest to my composition.

Day 281: Vogue Inspiration

I spent the entire day editing photos from the previous day’s shoot. With my holidays approaching, I needed to complete this task. To meet the challenge for the day, I created an indoor image featuring a collage of photos from my Vogue magazine collection. These are some of my favourites.

Day 282: Aberdeen Headshot Photography

I always advise clients to update their headshot if they change their hairstyle. It’s important to have a current profile photo, especially if you're a professional or business owner. Since I changed my hairstyle temporarily, I decided to follow my own advice and take a new headshot for my professional profile. This became today’s challenge photo.

Day 283: Pawns in Monochrome

My day started with two client meetings and continued at full speed until late. It was my last working day before my October holidays, so I had to improvise for the challenge. With limited resources at home, I turned to my chess set. The pawns saved the day, providing the perfect subject for a monochrome photo.

Day 284: Rain in the Countryside

After spending the day ironing (yes, the glamour of life!), I decided to go for a walk. I used the opportunity to capture a nature photo for the challenge. Despite being surrounded by pockets of rain, I was lucky enough to return home dry.

Day 285: Autumn Colours

It was a cold day, but I wanted to take today's photo outdoors. The colours of the leaves are gorgeous, especially with the way the soft autumn sunlight hits them. Another week done.
