Welcome back to the 365 Days Photography Challenge! During this week, we have dramatic photos of Aberdeenshire in black and white and all the beauty of spring in bloom.
Day 119: My Keyboard
I was having a busy week, but Monday was particularly challenging. I couldn’t take a picture during the day, and I was rushed to take a photo for the challenge. I decided to take a shot of my keyboard as I find it fancy that it is illuminated, and this could make for a good picture of that subject. This is the point of this challenge: to find beauty in my everyday surroundings.
Day 120: My Favourite Tree
I took a break from my editing work for a client and went for a much-needed walk. It was lovely to have a sunny day, although it was windy. You can see how the clouds were brushed out by the wind in the image. I am in love with this tree and repeatedly I take pictures of it. Do you have a favourite tree?
Day 121: Those Wonderful Misty Days in Scotland
Another thing that I love with all my might is misty days. Therefore, on day 121 of my challenge, I went for a walk early in the morning to take different shots. On misty days, we also have the luxury of seeing more animals than usual. I spotted red squirrels, roe deer, and a pheasant. I find that sometimes colours are more distracting, therefore, I prefer to record images in black and white. I believe that monochrome works very well on misty days like this.
Day 122: Dramatic Sky in Westhill
The day was gorgeous and warm. I could manage to go for a walk without my coat. I found more people than usual on my usual route. I was returning home without any remarkable shot, but fortunately, nature was on my side. It gave me these dramatic clouds and the sun rays filtering through them. You can imagine that I was happy going back home.
Day 123: My Promising Tulips
Every autumn, I try to plant tulip bulbs as a promising positive view for the following spring to come. It is always a pleasure to see them in bloom. Of course, I had to register them for my photography challenge; I was waiting months to see them in flower!
Day 124: Spring in Bloom
During my walks, I was checking how the branches of these trees were performing. I was waiting for some days to have most of the flowers in bloom to take this photo. As they are very young trees, I had to go to the side to have a better perspective of the branches and make the shot more interesting.
Day 125: The First Butterfly in my Garden
Keeping the vibe of Spring, I can’t omit a photo of a butterfly, right? So, here is a Peacock Butterfly for you.
