Makola market is the largest open-air market in Ghana. This bustling place is almost 100 years old and it is largely dominated by women traders.
The market is a noisy and crowded labyrinth with many narrow alleyways, stands with the most diverse products allocated in random spots and people in a hurry walking with huge bowls or parcels on their heads.
It is easy to understand why tourists and bloggers want to be portrayed in this location; the images illustrate the unique, vibrant life in West Africa.
I invite you to see some of my pictures around this place.
