366 Photography Challenge: Week Twenty-Nine - Aberdeen Photographer / by Leticia Gaidon Bradford

Welcome to Week Twenty-Nine of my 366 Photography Challenge! This week, despite facing some less-than-ideal weather and other challenges, I managed to capture a series of intriguing and diverse photos. Join me as I recount the moments and stories behind each day's photograph.

Day 189: The Mother and Baby Rabbit

The mother and baby rabbit were sharing some adorable moments of care that I couldn't quite capture on camera, as they are always on high alert for any threat or noise that might trigger their fear. However, I did manage to capture this precious photo.

Day 190: Forks

Some days are particularly complicated, and I have to come up with ideas using basic elements around the house. I lined up three forks, leaving negative space to create a minimalist image.

Day 191: The Wind

We know how dreadful this summer has been in Scotland, especially in Aberdeen and the Shire. Hence, I decided to take a photo of the wind shaking my garden, as it wasn't ideal to go out. I love my camera and prefer not to expose it to bad weather unless absolutely necessary.

Day 192: The Walk

Finally, there was a break between showers, and I could go for a walk. I really needed to reconnect with nature. This image shows you the path I visit religiously. The local residents always plant gorgeous bulbs and seasonal flowers, making everything extra special.

Day 193: The Nap

As I don't have pets, the rabbits find a very safe place in my garden to relax. This little one even had a brief nap on the grass.

Day 194: Roses in Monochrome

I brought my roses into my studio to capture this black and white photo, highlighting the texture of the raindrops all over them. I must admit, the pot was heavy! Fortunately, I work out regularly and could manage the weight.

Day 195: My Favourite Walking Circuit

After working out for almost three hours, I had a late lunch and then went for a walk to take the photo for the day. I was fortunate that the rain started just as I arrived home. You can't imagine how grateful I am to enjoy these walks, nor how tired I am afterward! The challenge for this week was accomplished.
