366 Photography Challenge: Week Twenty second - Aberdeen Photography Blog / by Leticia Gaidon Bradford

Welcome back to my 366 Photography Challenge! This week has been filled with diverse and captivating moments, from the vibrant colours of copper beech trees to the serene beauty of misty days. Join me as I share my journey through nature's wonders, creative experiments, and unexpected surprises that each day has brought.

Day 141: Copper Beech Tree

It was a gorgeous day with a clear sky. At this time of year, the copper beech trees display vibrant colours from the new leaves. I decided to capture both in this image.

Day 142: A Minimalist Photo on a Foggy Day

If you've been following my posts, you know my love for misty days. I also have a strong attraction to metals and industrial style.

Day 143: The Sequin Butterfly

I had a busy day and was running out of time to post something. So, I came up with the idea to transform a sequin butterfly from a top into a fantastic insect in an unreal world, with the help of Photoshop and Photoshop AI.

Day 144: Lush Vegetation

It's wonderful when trees create a natural frame, offering a viewpoint of a place you pass daily without any particular interest. It was a dark and rainy day, which added more mood to the image.

Day 145: St. Mark’s Church of Scotland Building

Coming back from the relaxing and enjoyable networking event organised by Women Connect, I decided to take this photo of this beautiful building in the city centre. You know I love domes! It's particularly interesting how different steps create new compositions of the same thing.

Day 146: The Falling Branch

Back to a sunny day, perfect for a walk and ice cream. My daughter joined me, mainly for the ice cream! I consciously almost never have ice cream at home, so if we want that treat, we must walk at least 6km as part of our circuit. After a nice talk, we came across the fallen branch that I originally found on Day 143 of my challenge. We climbed the branch to continue our walk, and I took this photo of her enjoying the view and her new seat. She told me I could use this photo for my challenge, which I really appreciate as I didn’t have to come up with ideas for this post.

Day 147: The Beauty of Decay

My tulips are slowly "dying." However, I found the shapes of their last days incredibly beautiful, especially with the raindrops on them.

Day 147.

This week has truly highlighted the beauty in both the grand and the subtle moments of life. From the vibrant hues of spring foliage to the intricate details of decaying tulips, each day offered a unique perspective. Photography continues to teach me to appreciate the fleeting and the permanent, the expected and the surprising. Thank you for following along on this journey. I look forward to sharing more moments with you next week!
